Define criteria before selection
Decide what you want to understand: markets covered, frequency, journal quality and documented limits. A ranking combining these criteria without a method does not help you choose. Separate subscription cost from the risks of any trades you may choose to make; purchasing a service does not require trading.
Review a complete sample
Choose a period in advance and read all available records, including cancelled and expired ideas. Check timestamps and edits rather than promotional screenshots alone. Without verifiable history, enthusiastic comments cannot establish quality.
Connect service descriptions to evidence
Pricing pages describe rights and features, not profitability. Match each service claim with an observable demonstration. On COF, begin with evidence and the member space; ask a factual question if information is missing. This guide does not name any provider best for your circumstances.
Read the less visible records too
A service review should not stop at pinned messages. Check how invalidated scenarios, corrections and periods without observations remain accessible. Silent changes to an old message may prevent reconstruction of what readers knew at the time.
Service costs belong in current terms; documentary quality belongs in the records. Combining both into one score often hides missing information. A clean history does not automatically demonstrate profitability, and a popular interface does not replace dated follow-up.
Limit conclusions to the file
A conclusion can identify what is documented, coverage limits and open questions. It should not turn a favourable excerpt into evidence for the entire service. Testimonials remain attributed to their author and context.
Your verification grid
| Item | Document or check to request |
|---|---|
| Sample | Request a whole period rather than only favourable records. |
| Timeline | Compare initial publication, corrections and market events. |
| Method | Read classification, expiry and any calculation rules. |
| Costs | Identify whether spread, charges, slippage and subscription are included. |
| Limitations | Name missing data and any absence of execution evidence. |
Practical questions
Can I compare percentages displayed by two services?
Only after understanding what each measures, its period and exclusions. Different definitions make figures incomparable. This guide publishes neither a leaderboard nor financial results for the services considered.
What does a history without losing trades mean?
It may be selected, incomplete or cover a particular scope. Without complete statements, the cause is unknown. Request the full period and publication rules rather than inferring profitability or accusing the provider.
